Home Theatre Projector - Making the Right Choice |
You've just purchased a new home with a home theatre ready for you to find the right projector equipment. Congratulations! You will be the envy of your friends and family.
Your first concern is buying the right home theatre projector equipment but at the same time saving some money in the process. Equipment is changing rapidly all the time, which gives you a wide assortment to choose from. However, the number and variety of projector equipment presents a dilemma of what equipment is right for your home theatre.
The first thing to do is to find a trained professional in sales and installation of home theatre projectors. This project is too complicated and too important to leave to your limited knowledge. It is always good to do research in advance so that you will know a little of what the salesperson is talking about, but your best move is to find an informed professional that you can trust to steer you in the right direction. If you have the tendency to feel that all salespeople are out to get the maximum amount of money from you, change your thinking. Most salespeople want you to be satisfied with your purchase for an easy after sale relationship. Besides, they may get a referral or two from you.
You must consider the size of your home theatre, the ceiling height and the seating arrangements to get an idea of the right projector equipment for your particular room. You will also need to consider how dark you can get the room in order to achieve the brightness of your image on the screen. The darker you can get the room to be, the less brightness your projector equipment needs to create.
You also need to decide the kind of screen you want and the size. It is always best to choose your screen and projector at the same time. There are basically three different kinds of screens: manual pull down, stationary, and electronic. The manual pull down screen works like a window shade. The stationary screen is either mounted to a wall or contained in a cabinet. The electronic screen is mounted inside the ceiling and is lowered by remote control. Screens come in different colours and different textures to enhance the image from the projector. Many home theatre projectors come as a complete set so the projector and screen come already matched up together.
You can expect to spend a considerable amount of money for a quality home theatre projector system. But as you are spending your money, you want the best system your budget will allow. Your system should provide you with many years of enjoyment. A home theatre is the best room in your house for relaxation. All the other rooms in your house have a purpose to provide everyday needs. Your home theatre should be a room to escape the hustle and bustle and cares of life. The wrong projector equipment can turn your paradise into a place you never enter because of the stress it can cause. Find a professional to help you make the right choice.
