Steps to making Projector installation a breeze |
Most of you might think projector installation is easy. Plug in the power cord and video input, fire it up, and you are done. It is that simple, if you are using it for daily activities like small business presentations only. However, if you expect to get the best result out of your projector, then a proper projector installation is needed. Although it is not as simple as the first plug and play method, it is worth the effort because it will boost output appearance and quality. There are few installation steps you need to do.
First, you need to assess the room you plan to place your projector in. Determine where you would put the screen, or where you would project. Make sure the screen area is wide enough and has clear line of sight from the middle and the back of the room.
After that, you need to determine where to put your projector. You can count it based on expected screen size with a certain formula, but the easiest way would be to turn the projector on and try to move back and forth to get the desired projection size. Do not forget to adjust the zoom and focus value to see whether it can produce razor sharp projection from that spot. Once you are finished, mark the spot and turn off your projector.
The next step in projector installation is to determine how you would place the projector. You could mount it at the ceiling, place it on a stand or on top of a table, or even on the wall. Once you decide how you would mount the projector, you can go on with the next step of our projector installation and install the mount. Once you are sure that the mount is installed firmly, you can continue with installing the projector to its mount.
The last thing you want to see is your projector came crashing down the floor due to bad mount or fitting installation. Do some adjustments, to make sure the projector installation is correct, by turning the projector on again and adjust the projection properly. Projectors mounted at the ceiling will most definitely need adjustments to remove any form of distortions. Then, you can continue the projector installation by installing wires and tidy them. You wouldn't want to have wires all over the place, right? You are almost done in projector installation, since once you have the wire installed all you have to do is install the video source.
You can add accessories or do some clean up, but your projector installation is pretty much done. If you think all those steps are too hard to follow, there are several projector installation services available. Experts will help you on your projector installation, and you will get best installation without having to go through all the trouble. Some retailers even offer free projector installation service for every purchase. Still, the pleasure of installing your own projector, and the pride of using it after all the hard work, is priceless, isn't it?
