Types of Projector Ceiling Mounts and their brands

Projector mounts come in various types and the most common out of them is the projector ceiling mount. They help in fixing the projector in the ceiling so that the view and angle can be the best.

There are various kinds of mounts available for projectors. The projector ceiling mount and the projector wall mount. Such mounts are very helpful in placing the projector at the right position so that the optical image and the angle of the screen are set in the best possible manner.

There are various series of projector ceiling mounts available in the market. Some of them are:

  1. RPA Series: It is one of the highest selling projector mounts and is usually installed in schools and offices. Some of its positive points include its artistic design, no requirement of any extra accessories, there are three methods of ceiling mounting, and is compatible with a number of accessories and so on.
  2. LCDA Series: This series consists of projector ceiling mounts required for the setting up of LCD or DLP projectors. It has an adjustable tray on which the projector is fitted and it is easy to install and uninstall.
  3. RPM Series: The ceiling mounts in this series are the latest ones which have very easy-to-use features so that a lot of time is saved during installation. They have almost all the features that are present in the RPA series and some more added ones to reduce the installation time.
  4. UPC Series: These are the best ceiling mounts in terms of appearance as well as installation. Their design is low-profile and their installation can be done really fast. The methods of mounting them are three and the projectors can easily be connected and disconnected from them.
  5. VCM Series: This series is characterized by the immense support it provides for the mounting of the heavier projectors like the LCD and CRT ones. It has all kinds of adjustment options to make the projector work better.
  6. RPMA Series: This series is an upgrade of the RPA Series and it emphasizes more on the security of the projector and has a very simple and user friendly design.

Each series of these ceiling mounts has its own specific dimensions and they are available as universal mounts as well as customized mounts. The customer must properly check the dimensions, weight and features of his or her projector so that they can decide upon the right kind of mount from their projector.

There are Universal ceiling Mounts which are commonly available from the company and there are custom projector ceiling mounts which are particular to any one kind of projector. The disadvantage of such customized mounts is that whenever the customer changes his projector, he will also have to change the mount.

There are a number of brands that deal in projector ceiling mounts. Some of them are Acer, Barco, BenQ, Casio, Dell, Delta, Dream Vision, Epson, HP, Hitachi, IBM, Mitsubishi, Microtek, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, Toshiba and Yamaha. All of them are available with the suppliers and it is up to the customer to decide which brand will suit his requirements as well as his budget.
